Chris Adams W. Ismail is not Australian-born. He arrived as a young adult, with the kind of resume that gets you into the country and not much else. What followed was forty years of methodical self-promotion through Australia's most regulated industry, into America's most demanding outbound markets, into Europe's tightest aerospace supply chains, and finally into the engineering trenches of on-premise enterprise voice AI. SARAH AI Suite is not the start of a career. It is the cumulative product of one.

His first ascent in Australia was through the racing and sports betting industry, where the operating tolerances for compliance, audit, and uptime are genuinely unforgiving. State racing authorities, federal regulators, and on-track stewards all share one assumption: every wager-related conversation has to be recorded, retrievable, and provably untampered. Chris built the only ministerial-approved phone system in Australia for recording calls in that industry — at both Federal and State level. He paired it with a private mobile network engineered specifically to overcome carrier congestion during major race carnivals, when public networks bend under the load and bookmakers cannot afford a dropped call. The platform was eventually adopted by Honeywell Australia, who held the maintenance contracts on hospitals and stadiums; the relationship that opened that door, Chris is the first to acknowledge, came through his late father-in-law, and remains a lesson he applies daily about how doors actually open at scale. Roughly two thousand enterprise installations later, he sat on the SACA cricket committee, the racing kit was a household tool inside its industry, and he sold the business in 2015.

He took a year. Then he moved to America and started, as he tells it, "a little call center for a friend of mine in Scottsdale." Thirty seats grew to two hundred and fifty-six, then expanded into Colombia, Mexico, and El Salvador until the network was running over three thousand agents across four countries. Peak engagement: eighty lenders, fifteen thousand fully-qualified leads for the federal PACE solar program in Florida and California, plus SBA loans and merchant cash advance. The thing that distinguishes this chapter from anyone else's call-centre buildout is the discipline he developed for vetting facilities. "I don't trust these video calls with the call centers," he tells anyone who asks. "I usually come, you know, if there's a call center in the Philippines or whatever, I just go there and stay there for a month and see where they drop the ball." That habit — physical presence, month-long stays, never trusting a video pitch — is now embedded in how SARAH AI Suite vets every partner.

The third chapter was POINTR, a Finnish technology company whose client roster reads like a tour through the world's most consequential engineering organisations: European Space Agency, NASA, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Ford, John Deere, Saab — and ten thousand others. Chris was head-hunted to run their Australian arm as CEO ("a one-man-band CEO," he laughs, "didn't even take a salary"), with Saab Australia as his first signed client. POINTR expanded his remit into the United States, Canada, and the European Union. During this period he split time between New York, Montreux in Switzerland, and Sri Lanka — vetting partner facilities, hosting summits, and quietly building the rolodex that would underpin the next chapter.

The voice-AI idea, in his telling, was born "two and a half years ago." He had been searching for engineers who could build a voice agent that was SIP-compatible — one that would sit behind the phone systems already on customer sites rather than demand a parallel cloud install. Every team he approached, he says, "fell off the earth" the moment SIP trunking entered the conversation. Eventually he found a former group that had only built outbound and pulled them back in to crack the on-premise enterprise problem. Before they wrote a line of production code, they did something almost no AI startup does: they recorded structured interviews with 1,237 C-Suite executives across twenty-three languages. Today the corpus has grown past two thousand recorded conversations with fractional CEOs, founders, hospitality directors, hospital administrators, and contact-centre leaders. Every one is transcribed, indexed, and queryable. SARAH AI Suite was reverse-engineered from how the best operators in the world actually run their day.

What ties the four chapters together is a single framework Chris repeats more than any other: productize the person. Fractional executives, in his system, do not sell time.
